Parent and Family Literacy Best Start Hubs are run as partnerships, with the Board providing the space, and programming run in partnership with an array of Best Start Early Years agencies. The Hubs offer an array of programs aimed at early years learning for children from birth to age five and their parents. All programs are free of charge for children and their parents.
The goal is to better prepare future students for school, bridging the entry level gap often seen amongst Kindergarteners, and forging connections between schools and parent and student communities.
